History

Rosa GrindTech, a brand of Rosa Ermando S.p.A., was founded in 1964 by Engineer Ermando Rosa. Over the years, the project developed thanks to the entrepreneurial vision of Ermando and his son Riccardo.

 

Our deep connection to the local territory, the involvement of local resources, and strong partnerships with suppliers have made us a benchmark in precision mechanics, enabling us to achieve significant technological and industrial milestones.

 

In 2017, we acquired Favretto S.r.l., another historic name in the field of surface grinding machines. This allowed us to combine ideas, capabilities, and expertise to offer increasingly advanced products and services to the market.

In 2023, with the entry of an institutional investor, we accelerated our path toward internationalization and innovation, introducing digital solutions and connected systems to enhance the productivity and operational continuity of our customers.

 

Today, Rosa GrindTech stands on the global market with the design and production of high-precision grinding machines, integrated with digital platforms and smart services such as GrindTech Service+, extending the value of the machine over time.

 

Our Rescaldina facility is a model of high technology, environmental management, and safety—where Italian mechanical tradition meets Industry 4.0 and IoT technologies for an efficient, sustainable, and fully monitored production environment.

Rosa GrindTech, a brand of Rosa Ermando S.p.A., was founded in 1964 by Eng. Ermando Rosa. The project has developed over time thanks to the entrepreneurial skills of Ermando and his son Riccardo. Attention to the territory, involvement of local resources, and partnership with suppliers have made us a benchmark in precision mechanics, reaching significant technological milestones.

In 2017, we acquired Favretto S.r.l., another historical brand in the surface grinding machine sector, combining ideas, strengths, and skills to create more value for the market through increasingly cutting-edge products and services.
