The request posed to us by one of the most reputed company in the French Aerospace cluster was quite challenging: the possibility to grind curved profiles on very large satellite components with uncompromised accuracy and surface finish.<\/p>\n

No way to grind these parts on our single-column profile grinding machines for they simply would not fit!<\/p>\n

This required our designers to engineer a brand new piece of equipment: a double-column machine originating from our series PLATINUM U with full automatic universal grinding head and equipped with table driven by linear motor.<\/p>\n

Another world\u2019s premiere for Rosa after the first single-column machines with table driven by linear motor had been successfully introduced on the market back in 2003.<\/p>\n

Thanks to the technical solutions available with this portal machine any kind of profile can be ground both lengthwise and crosswise on parts with maximum size 4500 x 2500 x 1200 mm (L x W x H).<\/p><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
